► A Summer of Skills and Recruitment- NIACE
  NIACE, is supporting the Learning and Skills Council's national Summer of Skills campaign to raise awareness of the value of acquiring new skills.
  Highlights include a new Skills for Life 'Get On' TV and radio advertising campaign and a football chant competition encouraging the public to write chants for their favourite teams.
  You can link your local marketing to the national Summer of Skills activity by using the 'Our future. It's in our hands' branding.
  To get involved, download a Five Step Guide to the Summer of Skills from the Campaign Resources Site (CRS) www.lsc.gov.uk/campaignresources, where you can also find FREE national LSC marketing materials such as press release templates, logos and posters.

► DIUS has today published A New Approach to English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). - View Document
  This sets out how we will build on the responses made to the ESOL consultation in 2008 to enable ESOL provision to have a greater focus on social inclusion and community cohesion.
